Updated review. So, the pub recently had a refurbishment. If you like green, then you will love it here. Kirsty (the manager) has worked really hard to change the clientele of the pub, getting rid of most of the previous rough elements and calming the rest. All the draught is of a good standard and having been invited to look at the cellar (following a dishwasher issue) to make sure she hadn't missed anything, I can happily say, you could eat your dinner off of the floor it is that clean and tidy. The team are a good mix of young and slightly more experienced and all are very approachable and helpful. There are regular menu changes which seem to be well received and are quite popular. It it's a very good pub and restaurant, the burger is fantastic, always busy, the drinks is reasonable priced, staffs are ok

Pleasant pub and serves up a decent gammon, egg and chips, could be improved by including pineapple!
