Horne Lake Family Campground

Although we did not actually stay at the campground, we really wish we had after renting a kayak from the main desk and paddling along the lake! The sites are very spacious and located in the South Park, with all but two sites right on the lake. There is even a private beach! Some campers were able to park their motor boats or kayaks next to their tents. While motorboats are allowed, we only saw one briefly during our afternoon visit. It was incredibly peaceful and the scenery was stunning, making us wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a great spot with delicious food and a lovely terrace. The menu may not be extensive, but it features fresh ingredients.
