We stayed a night at the hotel, and had dinner at the restaurant. The hotel in itself is actually really nice : nice rooms, nice view, friendly staff, reasonable prices, ... In the evening we ate at the restaurant which is reviewed here . The food wasn 't that overly delicious, we also had perch filet filet de perche and to be honest we were not really sure whether they were really filets de perches... we have a doubt. Any way, the food was a bit mediocre although we in general enjoyed the stay. Three stars.
Le menu a CHF 82.00, est beaucoup trop cher. Les serviettes sont en papier. La viande avec le beurre café de Paris congelé était froide. Le service lamentable pour le plateau de fromage, et le dessert une tatin de poire qui était un simple biscuit sablé avec une poire au sirop posée dessus. Moi j’appelle pas ça une tatin! Je n’y retournerai pas.
A cosy restaurant with spectacular views, good food and friendly service. Our mushroom starters were tasty and the lamb that followed excellent. The cheese board offered several local cheeses that were full of flavour. The wine list has a good selection of local wines including a 2010 Syrah Modus Vivendi which was excellent.
