Hostellerie Le Donjon

Do yourself a favour and head slightly off the beaten track to Bourdeilles and Hostellerie Le Donjon to experience a delicious meal, cooked by the owner, Etienne, made from locally sourced ingredients all lovingly prepared. If you like puds, then his Creme Brûlée is just the best! The village is wonderful to walk around and photograph, take time to walk by the river whilst working up your appetite. Eat in the courtyard if fine, it has a great atmosphere. There are also rooms at this wonderful establishment so you can take your coat off and stay a while.......

Great place for a glass of wine , situated in the square just a short stroll from Château des Sénéchaux where we stayed . Lovely ambience, chatted to some really interesting folks here and the wine most agreeable. We didn’t eat but the crepes on other tables looked delicious…….

Lovely traditional bar with amazing view of chateau and tower. Run by one very hardworking man who deserves time and support from the community. No evening meals available now but a must for your evening beverage.

Lovely smoothie at 5€ friendly and speaks fair English 2 friendly Labrador dogs came out to see us. We only had a drink but it wasn't a problem
