safe to book!. hot wok can be really busy, but eating is excellent. my friend and I had appeared on Saturday night and hoped for a table without booking before. the maitre de at the door said she would find us a table while we enjoyed a drink at the bar and that's exactly what she did while the hordes of the people came to take reserved tables and takeaway. we had a drink at the bar before we show ourselves on our table. the interior is just from the 1980s Chinese restaurants that I remember going with the family as a child and from this reason I absolutely loved it! the food was delicious and served immediately. The food is delicious and an extensive menu is available. The red and black decor is good, tables accommodate groups of 8 or so and the restaurant is spacious. However when it is full it is very loud and can be quite hot. Meals are interrupted regularly by lights going off as loud birthday music plays and cakes or desserts are brought out for the birthday party. Takeaway orders are taken and promptly prepared.

Thought we would give Hot Wok a try for lunch. Blown away by the fabulous food choices for lunch and the fantastic prices. Food was delicious, service was very quick. Nothing not to like about this place. We will be back. I highly recommended this restaurant.
