"We eat here a couple of times during our week in Hinterglemm and both meals were excellent and great value. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the restuarant was non smoking and quiet in comparison to some others in the area. Our 2 course meal with wine came to 25 euros for both of us - fantastic value and no hesitation in recommending."

I was with my son in Hinterglemm. It was Sunday evening and we were hungry. We tried to find a place to eat, but they were either offering us bad tables, wiping the floors under the tables, or did something non-friendly so we didn’t feel welcome enough to seat there.Hotel Alpenblick felt like refuge. The waiter was very kind and we were cold after an hour searching. I didn’t expect much, but…The food there was wonderful and the stuff was very kind and the value was great. I had a Tafelspitz which I recommend. We even returned there with whole family and everybody else were happy. Maybe they should rethink their wine list.The bill was something over 20€ per person on both occasions.

This is a great restaurant at the far end of Hinterglemm. It's less than five minutes stroll from the town centre and you reach it via a wooden bridge over the river. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, the food is fantastic, and it has a large no-smoking area so you can smell the food you are eating. They have a great salad buffet. The house wine is good and sold by the jug. Excellent.
