Hotel Bären Gonten

we enjoyed two nights with a great 6-speed menu in this bijou. the host and the personal have served and advised us by A-Z very friendly and courteous. with the hotel's own e-mountain bikes, we were able to discover the hilly environment very easily. that has made a lot of fun.Even the restaurant, the hotel is also beautifully designed and decorated. the breakfast buffet offers very tasty, local and fresh products. it certainly wasn't our last visit in the bear in gonten!

I have been able to evaluate many restaurants - but rarely did this review come out so convincing, so clear and easy - WAHNSINN!From the service via the ambiente over the kitchen - the chef himself inquires about his result - to the warm, warm, warm farewell by the owner just agrees everything! thanks fabienne for the great support - always present, humorous - and simply TOPCLASS!Gerne again - gonten is not only worth a visit - he is a MUSS!Many thanks!

we have already let ourselves be pampered in bears, but since the faber’s lead the bear it is perfect. a motivated competent crew. the guest is discreetly and lovingly caressed by the service staff (ch). the kitchen cooks at a high level and especially me, each also appreciates the contact with the chef at the table. you feel the soul of the host!

behind this local façade hides a with love renovated restaurant! the lower two etagens are really trendy and very tastefully decorated. the food 1a and the service very attentive. the rooms are comfortable and nicely a dish (if there is no carpet!) the breakfast can be taken in the small, narrow terrace with beautiful weather.

in the frame of a trip with friends we took this at night. the food was excellent, the service friendly and speditiw. the wine offer comprehensive, but the prices are very high. flexibility in non-common situations is limited and prevents a maximum note.

beautiful restaurant in the appenzellerland. chris and susan faber are the best hostess with their team. we felt all around well. eating was a joyful treat. we enjoyed it very much and are very happy to come back. willi and yvonne

We had a very large room in the dependance. It was almost like an appartment (no kitchen). The staff is very friendly and the restaurant in the main house can be highly recommended.

Fabulous location in newly renovated traditional Appenzeller house. We had a wonderful lunch there and will be back for dinner soon. I highly recommend this to anyone!
