Spent 7 overnight here Tour WW1 Battlefields, took this location as central for "The Somme Area" and easy to find near the highway of Calais. Has everything you need for a relaxing stay, all in one place. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, great shower,... lounge area, bar and restaurant. Continental breakfast with many choices, food in the restaurant is exceptional, nice touch was chief served us main course. Small number of employees who work very hard and always there to help. We found the relaxed dress code acceptable and very French, not affecting the quality of the service. To be honest, we were a caught audience and didn't expect much, but the food was an exceptionally high standard for a hotel restaurant. We had starters of Scallops and prawn cassoulet, which were cooked in a beautiful sauce, for perfection. My husband... father in law had the head of the deconstructed Paella and we had Gnocchi with a Gorgonzola sauce and beef that was very tender. The wine list was good and the wine we had delicious. There were no child options, but our children ate from the main menu. The waitress was very friendly and the service was good. Decor and ambience also very beautiful. Overall value for quality and would return if in the area again.

The Hotel de la Paix is a great place with fantastic and friendly staff. We visited as a party of 4 and 3 of us had really nice meals. It was good food, well presented and reasonable portions. Unfortunately, one of our parties was a vegetarian and there were no veggie options on the menu. The staff was very obliged and rusted a dish of sorted vegetables, but it was not a substitute for a proper meal. Adding a vegetarian option in the future would be very popular, I am sure.

In the heart of Bapaume there is a small hotel with a first class restaurant. Great service and really good food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Try the vein or the short Simmental followed by the Coffee Gourmand. Open to no residents. Family friendly. Great atmosphere. Average prices. A beautiful place for a good meal with a good wine card. If you stay in or near Bapaume, you should treat yourself here something fine.

Very good menu with plenty to choose from. The food was very very good and the service was excellent.
