Hotel Falken Wengen Restaurant

a charming hotel. Can imagine it has not changed much since the 1930s. Lovely bar and in high season there is always a pianist bringing life to the hotel. Great for families. Friendly staff too. I have been back nearly every year for seven years.

A place to visit for a drink from about 9 pm onwards for a beer, wine or coffe after a hard days skiing and listen to some good piano playing on the grand piano. A relaxing way to finish off a good day.

Good view: you need to stop at Wengen ! Best if you get your hotel here - cheaper than Lauterbrunnen and better view ! Plenty of parking at Lauterbrunnen train station - 16 CF for day (may be cheaper)

The beef fondue and mussel fondue here were amazing! It came with 8 different sauces to choose from in addition to an option of fries or steamed rice.

We had a great salad and pizza here for a reasonable price. However, this is the only place in Switzerland we were charged for TAP water- 3 CHF.
