when entering the gasthof (and hotels) löwen in kirchzarten (bahnhofstraße 16, fon 07661/4013) impairs a very unpleasant pub smell our nasen. but it is a real restaurant, even if a television is running in the middle and the few guests - of course - watch a football game. because nobody cares about us, we just take a place. after some time we actually get a menu. my companion chooses her favourite dinner and asks to get a small portion. in the background the chef immediately accompanies, that is not going to fall and the service supplements, we just have to share a normal portion.
