We ate here on a Friday night. We arrived at around and were asked if we’d booked a table. We hadn’t and looking around I struggled to see why. We were given a table but within minutes the restaurant was completely full. The...food is traditional German fare. I had the Zigeuner Schnitzel which was actually two pork cutlets and my wife had the Mexican pork salad. The food was plentiful. In fact I’d go so far as to say the portions were massive. The food was very tasty and enjoyable. The waitress was very chatty and friendly and made us feel welcome. The bill was reasonable especially given the number of beers we added to the meal. Parecía un domingo por la noche que este era el único lugar abierto con algún ambiente. Cuando el interior estaba lleno, nos dijeron que es posible que debas esperar unos minutos o más. Nos pusieron en una esquina y después de solo unos minutos ... nos guiaron a un piso de arriba, que estaba lleno. Una mesa en la esquina era nuestra. La comida y las bebidas llegaron rápidamente y nos sorprendió.Una noche encantadora en una habitación llena de loacles y una buena sensación.

Sat at a comfortable high table in the bar area. Very nice ambience and attentive staff. Ganter Weizen ist good and so is the house Merlot. Shared a large and tasty Feldsalat with home made croutons and bacon bits. Main courses consisted of a steak which was exceptional quality with fries and a cream sauce (Rahmsauce). Although we did not have a reservation, we were friendly offered a table on the sunny terrace until the next guests would come. We had a delicious schnitzel and cordón bleu. As a desert we had ice cream and the apfelstrudel. Personnel was very friendly...and kept an eye on their guests. SonI definitely recommend this place for German food!

Not much to say... Just one of the VERY FEW verandas in Kirchzarten... Service is friendly like a prison door. Don‘t drink out too much quick, coz they will ask if you want more. If you don‘t... GET PUNISHED WITH ATTITUDE.

Really great Jägerschnitzel with Spätzle for lunch with a nice (but small) selection of wines. Service was fast and friendly. Perfect place to go with our toddler the food was so good that she enjoyed every minute of it.

Restaurante acogedor fabuloso, la comida era excelente. Atendieron muy bien las restricciones dietéticas de mis amigos. No puedo agradecerles lo suficiente. Ojalá regresemos en un futuro no muy lejano. Reserva una mesa ahora

Fabulous cosy restaurant, food was excellent. They catered really well for my friends dietary restrictions. Can’t thank them enough. Hopefully we will return in the not too distant future.

Good salads, enough and tasty. Price/quality was ok. Nice terrace in the sun. Parking lot around the corner.
