This review is of the restaurant at Hotel du Lac.What an unexpected delight this restaurant was. The food was superb, both in presentation as well as taste. We were there for two nights and had the set menu each night.The first night we had the local fresh trout, probably the best trout I have ever had, along with local potatoes and legumes. The fish was cooked perfectly. The second night was veal and mushrooms with five and beans, all again perfectly cooked and presented.The entrees both nights were delicious. The desserts were also very good, but the real highlight was the mains.The cooking is provided by family members who would be in demand in any city, and the food is crafted with love....

We were 7 adults from 23 to 75 years old and no one was charmed by this restaurant. everything is old, sad and exhausted (the glasses are scratched by too many passages in the dishwasher, the towels are stained! the waitress and the young waitress whose kind but can not succeed in giving life to this establishment.The kitchen is eatable but really not exceptional. the hard view the lake doesn't do anything, that damage.

Let's say it without ambush, the room is a little defused and the service without pretentious but the kitchen is honest, the fresh trout, the family dishes without imagination but good and the nice little rosé. We were 4, arrived at 1.20 a Friday of July, one of us went, by correction, to ask if we could eat. the answer was clear: no!! "ah? you no longer have room?" "No, we no longer serve."! cold and unpleasant reception. so much worse, the war guard counter (6km further) was much more friendly and more welcoming!

the kitchen was excellent, products from the region and cooked in old. It's like this, Grandma was cooking! the owners are very friendly and the fast and impeccable service. No **** for a great party! less: service at 8:00 :)

We made a great meal with authentic and yet homemade products.Bravo to the cook and his team! this kind of place counts on the fingers of the hand, so don't change anything, everything is good or even very well.

in the middle of the lake on the height the terrace is very pleasant! menu at 22 euros with all homemade. the meat of the aubrac is excellent as the calf of the lozer! very good reception fast service. parking Reserva una mesa ahora

The view is beautiful. on the other hand the very long service and we did not eat anything exceptional, far from there. We were a big table, maybe the staff is not suitable for this.

small restaurant located on the lake of townfort, beautiful terrace overlooking the lake. homemade cuisine, good products. desserts are excellent. friendly welcome, quick service.
