Hotel restaurant France et Angleterre

Starters (pate and squid) and mains (we both had the lamb and white beans) were bland and did not live up to the expectations set by the general surrounds and snappy service. The beans were like white baked beans and the plate could have done with some potatoes. A glass of the local red was superb when served at room temperature, however when we ordered a bottle it was served straight from the fridge. Desert (chocolate tart) was very good. Overall we've had much better meals in France for much less money.

This little restaurant was amazing for the price! The setting was really pretty with pink and black accents. Even the waiters were wearing pink and black. The menu for 14 euros was excellent. We had a nice salad with goat cheese and duck meat. Then a ham dish with a gratin very moist. Finally a good panacotta or a choux with orange cream. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the price.

There was nothing to complain about at this hotel. It is not luxurious, but it is clean, well-appointed, and the beds are comfortable. I enjoyed having an excellent shower.The only thing lacking was a wine glass in the room. Most visitors to the area are likely to want to open a bottle of wine in the room.The service was friendly and efficient, and we had a good dinner in the restaurant.

Super location. Off season price very low. Great staff. Rooms and bed are substandard as needing a desperate renovation to catch up. BUT, it's more than a fine for the price and the service. Will return. All is proper.

Order roasted lamb and it was cold and tasteless and our fish was the same. I would try somewhere else
