Before we issued our impressions, I would like to point out that we had already visited this restaurant several times (breakfast and dinner) and that we had always been very satisfied (see the 16/04/2017 notice). Unfortunately it was nothing for this Saturday night, while we had reserved this option because we are fervent followers of the beef coast.When we arrived at 7:40, we took an aperitif, our entrance (no cooking since it was a simple mixed salad) was served at 9:05. note that the table next (4 covers) was served much faster. We didn’t book we just turned up and they had a double room available. Good location not too far off of the motorway. The room was cute and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine a little dated and the hot water took a long time to come through. The restaurant was very nice and warming. The foood was very good. I had the tournedos with mushroom ravioli and my husband had the mature dry aged ribeye off the bone. The waiter brings the joint to the table and you choose what you want the price is per 100g with a minimum order of 200g. The wine list... this is a genius idea: the price of the wine is the price the supplier sells it to the restaurant. The restaurant then charges a 15€...
We visited for dinner and were really impressed by the quality of the food and the imaginative selection ranging from a carpaccio of scallops with avocado temputea to a superb venison dish. In addition there is an impressive choice of aged beef that is available.There is a tremendous selection of cheeses and you can chose to dine on a selection of 18 cheeses if that is your thing. There is a great wine list that offers you the wines at sho.prices you are free to buy them for home consumption) with a corkage charge of only 15 euros per bottle if opened at the table. Add to this a very distinguished list of armagnacs, whiskies and rums Service is good and ambience too. Highly recommended.

I had taken into account the answer that had been given to my last review of the tartare and so I went back to taste again at this summer suggestion.All was good, I just had a little doubt about the fact that it was cut to the knife ... too thin and regular according to me. otherwise the seasoning well executed and at my request. A treat!
passing through the very pleasant restaurant area, in a setting surrounded by greenery. A nice and hearty dish, almost gourmet cuisine. sympathetic staff may be a little high, no matter what.I'll be back
We had a choice of a Superb menu. The staff were excellent and so helpful and attentive. Great value for money. Would go back again. Wonderful experience.
on the same counter are laid the dishes out of the kitchen and the dirty dishes that come back from the hygiene tables !!!!!

We followed the recommendation of the chef and enjoyed a seasonal four course menu with wine accompainment. Delicious!
typical Alsatian restaurant. the dishes are fine and copyy. Very good kitchen. suitable for groups.
