We went on our anniversary to this place thinking it could be better place near Ashfield instead of travelling far to Harris Park. But we figured out we have come to wrong place when the waiter/manager (whoever it is) starred at my 1 year old kid when he was enjoying banging the table sitting in his high chair. We ordered few dosas. Onion dosa had too much of oil and the onions were fried with some spice which was little sweet since it is fried. (no where i have eaten onion dosa in such a way). I have ordered food from here a couple of times, but yesterday was rather pathetic!! When I went in yesterday, the manager/owner was such an unpleasant host. I ordered one Palak Paneer and 2 Butter Naan. All the while he served me, as if he did not really want to.I asked for 2 samosas(1 veg and 1 non-veg). He denied and said I could not buy that way. I have to only take 2 veg or 2 non veg.Wonder why?? If there was a reason, none was given to me.He asked my name while ordering and I gave it to him. I was quite looking forward to eating here. Finding a Sri Lankan restaurant is difficult, so the blend of Sri Lankan and Indian food held promise. It also came with recommendations.The food itself was okay but quite oily in the case of the two meat dishes. Certainly not as good as my mother's when it came to the chicken curry and have had better dosas.What got my goat was the poor service. I ordered via the web and received confirmation by text from the restaurant that it would be ready within 25 minutes. 25 minutes after the order, they struggled to find my order, and was told 10 minutes. I was hugely disappointed with both the food and service at a function I organised there. The service was non-existent - I had to fill up drinks for my guests the whole evening. They made very little effort throughout the entire function. The food was a big let down. I would definitely not recommend booking any functions here. Reserva una mesa ahora

We were disappointed when we learnt that the name is misleading and it not the chain of restaurants we were looking for. However staff are friendly and food was better than expected. I would surely recommend to change/somehow indicate the customers about their misleading name.

This local gem has been going for some time now, but continues because it provdies great food at a terrific price. BYO and service at the top end, great for a quick night out or a long night in with a group of friends, can't recommend highly enough.

We visited Raj and his Brothers a few times while we stayed in Croydon. The food is super delicious and the philosopher Raj is a lovely host. We are now back in Germany and still locking for a comparable Indian Restaurant but without any success.

Fantasic Service, Good Meals with lots of options, Goat Curry was excellent. We had 6 persons and averaged $40 per head. For 3 courses. Very Happy

Very classy food, great atmosphere, owner Raj is an excellent host. If you like your teas, this is an exceptional place to go.
