After a month of eating out in Switzerland and Austria, this was the only sub-standard dining experience we had.The food we ordered was all poorly presented and lacked taste. Unlike all other Swiss and Austrian experiences, there is certainly no love in the kitchen of Sonnenlicht.Take for example the schnitzels which were just terrible. For starters, the meat had not been pummled into a thin and broad schnitzel, instead you got a super thick piece of meat. Secondly, the schnitzel had been deep-fried and not pan fried as it should be - the tell tale sign being that the breadcumb crust coming away from the meat. Passed through the lovely alpine village of Maria Alm this summer. We were a bit 'late' for dinner just after 9pm and the kitchen was already closing down. The waiter managed to convince the chef to put in some overtime and they made us some great 'Wiener Schnitzel'. We had a friend staying at the hotel opposite and they even brought over the food for her up to the room.Their house schnapps was pretty good too. Highly recommended.
We have enjoyed a fantastic dinner Sonnenlicht every year before the “Maria Alm Night Show”; always a great place for pancakes, as well as a full menu with many choices. This year was somewhat of a disappointment. A hugely restricted menu with very limited choice. That said, the food itself was delightful (though too much black pepper on the carpaccio), and the service was excellent and friendly as always.
This food is just delicious and the 2 waiters (I presume father and son are wonderful). We actually went here twice in a week it was that tasty and the price just couldn't be faltered. Food in maria alm is quite pricy but here they do various schnitzels or ribs on different days for €8.50/ €10 and I just can't stress how tasty it was! Reserva una mesa ahora

Здесь делают очень хорошую форель в фольге. Кроме того есть еще на закуску салат с копченой форелью . Очень вкусно. Места есть и внутри и на улице у речки. Все блюда свежие и вкусные. Найти ресторан легко, просто по центральной улочке идите в сторону игровых зон и бассейна.
