Hotellerie Du Pont D'espagne

You will find a cafe at the Hôtellerie du Pont d'Espagne just beside the landmark Bridge of Spain which is no more than a 5 minute walk from the general car park. This is a nice spot for an afternoon drink after spending a couple hours exploring the grounds and waterfalls trails around Pont d'Espagne. We stopped here for a glass of beer and wine recently. Service was quick, working hard to accommodate a large number of patrons taking up the many tables on the outdoor terrace area. Pay when drinks are delivered, enjoy the charming environs and beverage while letting your feet rest up a bit. Then, you can be on your way. After a short hike we decided to take a break at this establishment. The terrace looked inviting so we found a table overlooking the spectacular waterfall. The location is perfect and the service was friedly and fast. We ordered a waffle, a tartelette myrtille (Blueberry) and hot chocolate drink. The quality of the waffle and the little pastry was average. 2/5 The quality of the chocolate drink was poor, no chocolate taste and very milky sweet. 2/5 The price for those 3 items: euro 11,80.
