Order a beef nachos with some other items and when I get to work I see my nachos were only cheese. I called and told them about the messed up order. The only thing they could tell it was their mistake but told me they only charged me just for a cheese nacho instead of a beef nacho. Just said sorry and did not offer me a replacement or refund or put me in a book for a free replacement. So I try to just eat the nachos...it was not hot or even warm. The cheese was cold. Just nasty wit no flavor. I'm not coming here again.
I ordered a wet burrito with sour cream at the restaurant. It was just okay, but lacking in flavor. The burrito had regular beans instead of refried beans, the meat mixture was too wet, and it didn't have much taste. I requested hot sauce but was disappointed to receive a lukewarm, bland sauce that lacked spiciness. I remember that the burritos used to be drier and made with refried beans, with a hot sauce that would make me sweat. Overall, I found the burrito to be below average compared to my past experiences.
Giving 4 stars because I don't think one bad item reflects overall quality. First time here, steak wet burrito was the worst burrito i ever had. Meat was processed, like a pressed ham would be, and the onions were neither sautéed nor caramelized but rather like a microwaved mess. Then the gravy was a sweet tomato based sauce and not enchilada gravy. Very disappointed. The taco was great. Next time I will try the traditional ground beef dry burrito. Service was very fast and the staff friendly and professional.
This is a locally-owned, family owned business that has been in business about 40 years. They must be doing something right to last that long. Portion sizes are larger than most Mexican restaurants in the area. Their mini burrito is what most other places call the dinner sized. They put their own spin on each dish to contrast with the rest of the places you know. No alcohol. They have a drive thru and let you call ahead. Give them a try.

The restaurant has a cozy interior with about six tables. The refried beans, hot sauce, and toastadas are all delicious. The use of real cheese is a plus. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service. Overall, this Mexican restaurant is fantastic.
This is the best taco place I've been to in Jackson and maybe Michigan! I moved here recently and was on a quest for some excellent Mexican, and this is fantastic! It has a no nonsense feel and can't wait to eat there again.
I have been coming to this restaurant for many years and the food is always exceptional. I have not found anything else that compares. I will be very sad to see this place close as the owner retires. Lots of love!
Sure glad to find this place. Small, older restaurant off the beaten path but worth the stop. The food was very good and the staff was helpful and engaging. The chips are great, grab the guacamole to go with.

Tacos had way too much lettuce and cheese and not enough beef. If I wanted a taco salad I would have ordered one. Also since when does a taco place not have any kid of nacho or liquid cheese??
