Hsin Fortuna Restaurant

Fortuna Court is now called Hsin Fortuna and wow, have they got some great food. We asked what dishes were popular with chinese guests and the waiter suggested the fish fillet in chilli oil, which was superb. Their salt and pepper eggplant and pumpkin is one of our all time favourites too, which I find hard to avoid ordering. The place has also had a physical makeover and looks much more trendy now. The staff were all helpful and friendly too, making for a great dining experience. Definitely in the top handful of chinese restaurants around.

I went to Fortuna to try Chinese out of China Town in Gouger- bad move! I left thinking is this place for real? Is western Chinese food meant to taste so bland and terrible. $16.80 for a plate of 'mixed green' actually it's bok choy sprinkled with oyster sauce! We were in and out in 35min. I went to spend an pleasant evening. Not to have the mcdonalds of Chinese served to me. The prices were so expensive. I was so disappointed. Norwood residents should be embarrassed to have this restaurant in their suburb.

Ordered banquet for 2 Entree was ok but mains combo seafood- calamari was mushy and little could be said for scallops( rubber) prawns boring no flavour.. steak dish no taste in particular Rice was ok, with plenty of veggie and prawns Overall I wouldn't have this dining experience here again

Always a sumptuous dining experience eating here. Their Salt and Pepper Eggplant and Pumpkin or Squid, Prawn and Seaweed Salad, Crispy Skin Duck, Dry Green Beans are absolutely delicious. Good wine list. Reasonably priced dining experience.
