Hukuya - Reservar una mesa

Based on the reviews, we tried out this place with the family. Small and not that clean looking, we got our table and let it pass if the food was as good as the reviews said. We ordered a selection of hot food and sushi. Maybe everyone here only had their sushi because their hot dishes were very disappointing. Their sushi was fresh but pricier than other sushi places of same quality. Hot food was oily and heavy on the batter in the fried dishes. Service was rushed and you could only stay for one hour. We were confused as to why this place is number one on TripAdvisor. Pricey and dissapointing - we will not be back.

I have been to Hukuya at least dozen time and every time the food is delicious, fresh and simply beautiful. This place is definitely my top Sushi place and restaurant to go. Need cash or debit as they don't accept credit card and book in advance as the place is quite small.

I think this place not only has the best sushi in Eastwood but is one of the best sushi bars in Sydney. The staffs are nice and food is fresh and generous. Don't forget to take cash though as they don't accept card and there is no ATM around

I went today with my sons. I ordered a large sushi and a regular sushimi plus other food. As the sushimi has not yet arrived after we finished most of the food. We told the lady (cashier) to follow our order and later they delivered...More

Always an awesome experience. Sushi sashimi is fresh, the waiters are genuine and the atmosphere feels local yet ambient for a date night
