This restaurant offers delicious food with quick and convenient service from either a kiosk or cashier. I highly recommend visiting on Wednesdays, as all dumplings are half off and definitely worth trying. The takeout option makes it easy for a dinner meal, with prices ranging from $30 to $50 per person. The food quality and service both receive a 5-star rating, while the atmosphere is a 4. I recommend trying the Asian Pork, Cheesesteak Dumplings, Apple Pie, Buffalo Chicken Dumplings, and Sampler dishes.
I don't really want to rate the food yet because I only had the dumplings. They were okay. I love dumplings, but I personally needed some more flavor added to the filling. Service was good. They were quite busy, but I still received my order in a very timely manner. The atmosphere was pleasant. They have outdoor and indoor seating but not really the ambiance for dining in. I'd definitely go back. I love noodles, so I plan to try them next. Overall, Humpty Dumpty's is worth a visit.
I used to really love this place a few years ago but I just don't think it has the same quality anymore. The chicken pot pie noodles I got this week were nowhere near as good as they used to be. It was a bland soggy mess and the chicken was so chewy I couldn't eat it. Really disappointing. I also got some cheesesteak dumplings and they were so dry it's like they forgot to put cheese inside.
King (not his real name) makes the BEST fries. HANDS DOWN! Noone at Humpty or beyond can compete based on the last year of eating them at different events. This restaurant is amazing. If you're craving comfort food wrapped in a fried dumpling, this is the place to go. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is cozy. The prices range from $10 to $20 per person for lunch. I highly recommend trying the Broccoli Cheddar, Cheesesteak, and Honey Chipotle Chicken dishes.
I've been going to Humpty's since I was a student at Arcadia, and I always love to see them at local shows and festivals. I'm only giving a 3, as they used to have at least one vegan option on the menu at all times, and it seems as though they've eliminated that option from the menu. Would love to see it come back.
