I reserved a table with family for my daughters 13th birthday. We were allowed to take in a few table decorations as well as a cake for after our meal. The restaurant was busy but our food was served hot and in great time. The food was great, everybody enjoyed their meal. Our table was served and cleared by Kirsty and Ellie, nothing was too much trouble. They checked that our meals were good, checked to see if anything additional was needed and always with a smile. I have visited previously and can honestly say that Kirsty is such a hard worker, nothing is ever too much trouble and she is always happy. She is lovely and makes a visit a happy one! Had a family meal on Sunday lunchtime and we enjoyed it a lot. We had to book a table online although there were spaces on the day. We were also able to use Tesco vouchers there which was handy. I thoroughly enjoyed my turkey dinner; lots of different veg and the gravy was lovely. The turkey wasn't fresh-carved meat, but I was happy with what I received. The kids enjoyed their bacon burger and roast beef. Other half liked the veggie lasagne although said the portion was a little small (he ate my spare potatoes and veg so that was ok! . Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, all in all good value for money so I would definitely eat here again :
I go to this restaurant quite often with my friends and have always had a lovely time. However I was at another pub and, since The New Inn is on my favourite list, I accidentally ordered my drinks to there instead of where I was. I very quickly called the restaurant but it kept going to voicemail. On the fourth attempt I finally got through to someone who basically said ‘We’ve poured them already I’ll be at a loss if I refund it so I won’t” She was very short and rude about it. As if no one is going to order a Stella
After an extensive shopping trip, my friends I stopped off at the New Inn Hungry Horse for a late lunch. We were able to immediately find a comfortable convenient table near to the bar we ordered our food drink easily using the Hungry Horse app. Our order of Lasagne; a Mac Cheese a Burger were all delicious nicely presented. We have got into the habit of visiting every Tuesday for a while with our adult grandson for lunch and a drink. The food is always spot on and the cask ale is top notch. The staff are extremely friendly and by visiting outside of the busy periods it means that the food is served very quickly. We enjoy the amazing value sizzler choices and can highly recommend this venue.
Went to the New Inn for a pre Christmas social with friends at the weekend. We ate from the festive menu and OMG the food was amazing!!! So much choice and the portions were huge. Great value for money and served by friendly staff. I highly recommend it if you’re looking to get into the festive mood!!
