I don 't understand the Yelpers leaving reviews about them having the best ice cream ever. It 's Hershey 's ice cream. It literally says that on their menu. It 's no different than the Hershey 's ice cream you can buy in the grocery store. You all don 't think they 're actually making it in there, do you? At Hunter 's, you 're simply paying someone a couple bucks to scoop it into a cone or bowl for you. But that does 't mean the place is without it 's charm. Some days you need fancy gourmet ice cream in eclectic flavors. Other days you need a swirly soft serve vanilla ice cream cone dipped in a peanut butter flavored coating for about $5. This is the perfect place for when you need that sweet twisty pile of creamy awesomeness on a cone. The portion I received for the price was pretty impressive. I didn 't try the real food. I only had the one ice cream item. This is the quintessential dippy whip type of small town ice cream shop. They sell the same stuff you can get at other places. And that 's ok. Nothing fancy. Decent prices. Go for the ice cream. It 's the perfect summer treat.
This classic shop has an impressive menu! I had no idea they offered food too! My coworkers and I stopped by after dinner for dessert, and I was blown away by their variety. I opted for a Hand Dipped Chocolate Soft Serve (Twist with Vanilla Chocolate), and it was delightful—generous serving and not overly sweet. It's a charming spot to relax, with friendly staff, but be aware that there's limited parking out front.
Open seasonally but the GEM of Danville PA! Come here for the ice cream as the food is ok. They change a few ice creams throughout the season but have a plethora of consistent options. They have a variety of playground equipment for your children. Plenty of outdoor seats. Volleyball net and a huge field to explore with a small stream. Ambient parking. Clean restrooms. They deliver!

This ice cream shop might be one of the most charming spots in the area, and it has been around for ages! I absolutely love the vintage decor, from the adorable boyfriend and girlfriend ceramics displayed in the windows to the quaint garden and the classic children's playground. There's even a delightful quote in the ladies' restroom that they can provide you a copy of if you ask!
A reliable and welcoming ice cream shop located by the roadside. The kids enjoyed twist cones, and the kid-sized portions were quite generous. We shared an extra thick chocolate peanut butter shake. The cones were delicious! The shake was tasty too, though it wasn't as thick as some of the extra thick shakes we've had in the past. We'd definitely return!
A great little roadside ice cream shop. Everything you want it to be from the good old days. Go and enjoy all they have to offer. Sundaes, shakes, dipped cones, and banana splits. Also a full menu of diner food. Burgers, dogs, sandwiches, onion rings and fries. A playground for the kiddies and shaded benches outside under the trees. Enjoy.
Ordered the hot fudge sundae which was good happy they had peanuts and the value was great! We also ordered the fries which were not good there was no salt on the waffle fries and they were super soggy. Would recommend going for ice cream but would pass on the fries!

Toco shell was stale and food had no taste guess that's why all the older group was hanging out there. I will never eat food there again. However the ice cream was the best.
Everytime I call to place a delivery order they are rude on the phone. And they seem annoyed that your calling. But other than that food is good.
