Huxley's Bookmark Cafe

I discovered this restaurant through Yelp while we were hiking in the area and looking for a place to have lunch. It turned out to be a lovely spot! The service was excellent; our server was friendly and attentive. One of the highlights was a pianist playing in the center of the restaurant, which I had never experienced before and found to be fantastic. I ordered a salad along with a chicken cutlet panini, and I really enjoyed both. Overall, I had a wonderful lunch and a great time at this restaurant!

The service was excellent; our server was very friendly and attentive. One of the highlights was a guy playing the piano in the center of the restaurant—I've never seen that before, and it was truly delightful! I ordered a salad and a chicken stall Panini, and I really enjoyed my meal. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant!

I had a great breakfast experience at this diner. The bookshelves adorned with books along the walls were a charming touch. What made it stand out was the baby area located in the center of the restaurant. We were fortunate to enjoy the soothing sounds of a pianist while we dined. The food, while typical diner fare, was notably better than most. The only downside was that the prices were a bit on the higher side for breakfast. Overall, it's a lovely place worth a visit.

I?m so disappointed.. in myself for not coming here sooner! They have quick service, friendly staff, and delicious food. I got two breakfast sandwiches, a western and a chorizo egg cheese. Both were great! And the home fries are perfect. This is goingto be my new Saturday breakfast go-to. Thanks! Reserva una mesa ahora

I've loved Huxley's since before I moved to South Carolina. Now that I'm back in Meriden, I decided to pay a visit. It remains the best spot for breakfast. I really like the new location. My omelette was perfect, and I enjoyed a nice cup of tea. The wait staff was friendly and personable.

May 1 2022 Very nice place. Service was pretty fast for how busy they were. Our waitress does not normally work the weekend but really hassled. Food was good. Need more flavor in the home fries. Piano play was awesome and made the mood. Will try this place again.

We're so glad we paid attention to the reviews and decided to stop for lunch because they were absolutely correct! The staff was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was delicious. It's definitely worth the trip from anywhere!

Great place for breakfast! Great atmosphere with a small wing, bookshelf and friendly staff. You have good food (fresh fruits) and my Belgian waffle was delicious. I recommend!

Excellent service, delicious breakfast with big portions. The waitress is a pro. I recommend this restaurant over any other breakfast place in the area and surrounding towns.
