The fish was fresh, and both the seaweed salad and miso soup were tasty. However, the service was disappointing. I believe that every restaurant should have at least one staff member who can speak English. I ordered a dish after inquiring about the vegetables, and I was told there was cabbage. To my surprise, it was actually lettuce. Unfortunately, I had a hard time communicating and couldn’t even return the dish. Regrettably, I don’t think I will return.
As for the food, it was mediocre at best. The sashimi pieces were very small, the sea urchin was of terrible quality—I've never encountered such poor tasting sea urchin before—and the salmon skin hand roll was mostly rice, despite my request for very little rice. The seaweed was so tough that I had to spit it out, both with the sea urchin and the hand roll. I will definitely not be returning to this place.

I tried their hwedupbap and eel rice, and both were really delicious. It seems to be a busy spot due to takeout and delivery orders, so it might take longer than you expect. The flavors were very clean and fresh.

This cozy little spot features a wonderfully friendly couple who both serve and prepare the food. While it may not be a fancy restaurant, the sushi is excellent. Overall, I give the food a rating of 5/5.
