TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant for an event!! The owner Gaston was so unprofessional and did NOT keep his word on anything we agreed on when leaving the deposit. I had our event booked 3 months prior to the event. It was from 1-430 pm with no other events on the calendar. We were promised that we were able to decorate the restaurant the night before being my sons christening was at 12 and the restaurant opened at 11 and we could not get there in the morning. We were told there would be 7 round tables sitting 8 people per table. If I could give zero stars, I would. New owners are absolutely tarnishing the name the previous owners built with their horrible attitude and terrible customer service. Do yourself and a favor and don't go here for dinner or book an event. We had a family dinner we booked for 25 people and they forgot it was happening and we didn't get served dinner for 3 hours. This was in December. Fast forward to now, they accidentally double triple booked THREE christenings for the same day and when we went to pay the deposit they claimed we never even booked it and were extremely nasty, blaming us for their mistake. My family and I had dined at Il Mulino before and loved the food. For Mother's Day, we decided to go back, only to discover new owners. They were friendly and provided excellent service. The food was still amazing. Each of us ordered a different dish and they were all fantastic. One highlight was when they made fresh mozzarella right in front of us and gave us each a bocconcino. Compliments to Gastone and his team Excellent service , best compliment to the Chef everything was done to the perfection . Better then expected Very professional explaining their dishes This is a must go place if you are looking for good food and good service like back in the good old days . Very nice experience! Would certainly go back. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the place was clean and comfortable, plenty of tables, and the food was very good. We had the special lobster ravioli in vodka sauce with pieces of salmon and a mushroom risotto.
