Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse

I came in on 8/24 with a reservation at 7pm for a party of 10 to celebrate my little sister’s birthday. It took a good while for our order to be taken, our server was nice so we showed grace. She dropped glasses near us that we helped her quickly pick up yet we sat there with no bread or anything. We did not start getting food until well AFTER 9PM! On top of that, my Mac and cheese side did not come out until everyone was done with their food, so all I had was a cold NY strip after I gave up waiting. The reviews I read was right on the lighting, to dim need your phone and I seen a few people do it. BUT LORD!! I had the Petite Filet Mignon, mashed potatoes with onions straws, wedge salad. It was soo tender, everything was still the right temperature when it arrived at the table. Christopher was so attentive. The Red Velvet Cake was big (can be shared with 6 people) and was delicious. I enjoyed my meal and I do see myself returning again. (I forgot photos)

Terrific steak but that's to be expected when you're paying over 50 bucks for one. My picture doesn't look the hottest because the steak came out sizzling and drizzled in butter. The atmosphere has a rustic charm to it along with the hundreds of paintings, and art. Service was excellent and as you come to expect.

Ashley M was nothing short of PHENOMENAL as our waitress this Friday. She was fun yet professional and super attentive. She embodies the type of waitress I want in all dining experiences.
