I just ate here with my wife for our anniversary. Didn't know anything about the place just that it had great reviews and it wasn't disappointed. We started with the Carolina Delight appetizer and that was delicious. My wife got the deep-south plate and I had a plate with Chilean Sea Bass devil crab. Everything was phenomenal. I'm not a fan of seafood personally, but I enjoyed everything I tried here. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the owner personally visited every table for a few minutes to chat and gave us a free dessert for our anniversary. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
Just fantastic. The food is extremely fresh, delicious and not oily as many fried seafood. The combination of flavors, sauces and cooking is perfect! The service could not be better. Our server Victoria has done an amazing job, which recommends us when we are asked without pushing and reviewing us regularly. One of the owners stopped by and gave us a very warm welcome that shows that he really cares. Excellent first experience and definitely back.
This food was incredible. The wait was long, but worth it! I got the Carolina Delight with the salmon croquette. The Parmesan sauce was amazing. I got the She Crab Soup and also enjoyed that, though it's not even the best part yet. The BEST dish I tasted was the broiled Chilean Sea Bass. The flavor and texture was so incredible. I couldn't finish my food and we didn't even get an appetizer. It was SO GOOD.
The owner Mr. Hyman brings hush puppies to the crowd waiting outside. We waited under 1 hour. He greeted every table and brought our big party of 8 a complementary appetizer. There were a few missing pages from our entrees, but they compensated by lifting off the bill and also gave us each to go a complementary slice of key lime cake. The food was excellent! Yolanda is a big server and so friendly/sweet!
