This boutique hotel was absolutely charming, with attentive and thoughtful staff. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious, while the common areas were stylish. The dining and bar facilities were top-notch. We were fortunate to have discovered this gem and will definitely be returning. This hotel is absolutely charming, with a lot of character, stunning decor, and beautiful buildings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back! The rooms are equipped with everything you need, including a super comfortable bed, Malin Goetz toiletries, mosquito wipes, plenty of complimentary water, and even a fresh cookie at turndown each night. We appreciated the little touches that made our stay intimate, especially the nightly cheese and wine hour. The location is great, with easy access to the main attractions. From check in until departureFirst Class. We travel a lot. So many establishments are still nursing Covid as an excuse for poor service and understaffing. Not these professionals. We checked in and were offered sparkling wine. Our car was valeted perfectly. We had a King Room with porchsuperb. The room was clean and well maintained. We have been to many older properties that were ‘tired’. Not this one. Breakfast included) was superb. Fresheverything. Cheese and wine at 5PM included) was terrific! The staff is very friendly and professional. The cleaning crew did a very good job on our room twice each day. Stay here.
We loved the fantastic tasting menu and excellent service in a lovely setting. We also opted to add a caviar tasting with Japanese vodka, which was beautiful and delicious. However, I am only giving this restaurant two stars because the tasting menu felt rushed. With only two hours to enjoy a large amount of wonderful food, there was little time to savor the flavors and enjoy the company you are with. Spending nearly $900 on a birthday dinner, I do not want to feel rushed. This issue needs to be addressed.

My husband had business which brought us to Charleston, one of our favorite cities in the South and one we visit a few times a year. This was our first time staying at Zero George and they didn't disappoint! The service was incredible. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make our visit pleasant. They were professional and displayed southern hospitality. Every detail was well-thought and delightful. We had a wonderful couple days away will definitely visit again!
Despite a minor hiccup with guest services at the hotel, the restaurant staff provided quick and efficient service, making us feel special and well taken care of. Our anniversary celebration was made even more memorable by the thoughtful gesture of having a menu signed by the chef. Overall, we would definitely return to try more of the chef's creative offerings and recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique dining experience.

While we did find it to be a bit expensive, the food and service at this restaurant were exceptional, making it worth the price. The server had great knowledge of the menu and gave detailed descriptions of the dishes. The wine pairing was thoughtful and tasty.
