We just experienced Ichiban for the first time last night, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends, and the menu offers an extensive selection. I can't wait to return and sample everything else! The drink menu looks impressive as well. I ordered the shrimp tempura, which arrived quite quickly and was a generous portion! It was definitely worth it. The prices were reasonable compared to several other Japanese restaurants we've visited, and the portion sizes were quite generous. There are multiple pages dedicated to sushi on the menu, but there are also plenty of options for those who don't eat sushi or fish.

Ichiban is a consistently excellent restaurant that serves delicious Japanese dishes, including fresh and creative sushi, bento boxes, salads and soups (the miso and udon are really good here), all in a beautifully decorated restaurant space. Our servicewas very professional and courteous and the wait times were just perfect for a busy night. A wonderful experience highlyrecommended for all looking for Japanese cuisine in Pensacola. Pictured below include the Cowboy Roll and Crunchy Roll, SteakBento Box, udon soup with Chicken Tempura, and Cheese Yakimando as an appetiser. Also, the ginger salad and egg drop soup. I had a fantastic experience at Ichiban. My guests sampled a noodle dish and chicken tempura, both of which they thoroughly enjoyed, and the portions were quite generous. They also shared a cucumber appetizer. I chose the seaweed salad and Rainbow Sashimi, which were expertly prepared and delicious. Even the green tea was of high quality, reminiscent of Matcha. I visited Ichiban for the first time, and it was such a delightful experience! Although they didn't have a vegetarian option for yaki udon, the staff was very accommodating and gladly removed all the meat for me. Our server was incredibly friendly, and I really appreciated the lovely interior. Everything was well-maintained and clean. I believe they have multiple locations, so I'm considering trying their Foley spot as well!

Our server was extremely friendly, and I really appreciated that. The interior was beautiful and well-maintained, creating a lovely atmosphere. I believe this place is part of a chain, so I might check out their Foley location as well!

Consistently excellent food and service! I’ve been a regular since 2008, and it truly lives up to its name. I even bought a $50 bottle of soy sauce just for my visits to enhance the experience. The portions are generous and the quality is outstanding, outshining many other restaurants in the area. We always leave satisfied and never hungry. It’s our go-to spot whenever we indulge a little.

This was our first time here though we've passed by lots of times. I liked the decor and atmosphere inside. Its not a large restuarant so it becomes an intimate setting. The food doesn't come out quick which is good because its fresh but when it came out, it was good, tasty and hot. Reserva una mesa ahora

Claire was our waitress, and she was attentive and excellent. The food was delicious. We ordered calamari, a California roll, a mango roll, a Hawaiian roll, and a super crazy roll. Everything was spot on. The place was also nice and clean.

Ichiban was excellent. Our waiter was really cool and helpful. Amazing service. The food was so fresh and good. The restaurant also has such a great aesthetic and mood. Man, my wife and I were very happy. Get the egg rolls!
