Ichiban Sushi In Sheffield

I’ve been eating here for several years with no issues about where I can sit at the hibachi. Yesterday asked to be seated at the hibachi for two people. The waitress set us down at the end and we asked her if we could move in front of the hibachi since there was not a person on the whole place. Waitress said to remain seated until she finishes putting the ticket in. Like that makes no sense at all! Nobody was in the room with a 60 empty chairs. Why does it matter as customer we get to chose wherever we’d like to sit?? So crazy!!!

I know sushi places can change rapidly, so the gushing reviews from years ago may have been justified. Now, though, the sushi is OK, not great. I've had better from a grocery store. I really hope this isn't the best sushi in the area, that we can find a place that does it right. Similarly with the yakisoba my wife got. She said the shrimp were overcooked, and all in all it was just OK. The service is fast and friendly.

Last three times I have ordered it has been far from correct when you say something to them it’s always a blame game and they talk to customers however they please they will hang up on u mock u and refuse to deal with a compliant the manager is rude and allows his staff to make a joke out of issues never again will this place receive a dime of my money

The lunch bento box makes a perfect meal for lunch with plenty of options to choose from! Of course you can't go wrong with their hibachi either! I'm not a fan of sushi so I can't speak for that but everyone that likes it tells me it's really good there! Reserva una mesa ahora

Wonderful little restaurant with friendly staff and amazing food. We have been there twice and will be back again soon. You have to try the sweet cherry shrimp.

Went to Hibachi for a friend's birthday and the chef complained the whole time and was mad our son was sitting at the table and not eating.

The Miso soup was absolutely delicious authentic! We truly didn't expect that in this area, though pleasantly surprised!

Everything was very fresh and it tasted excellent. the service was great staff were very friendly
