Iimori Vegan Ramen

We came to this restaurant after we saw the high rating on the Google map but eventually left the place disappointed. We’ve had many vegan ramen but we felt their ramen felt short in terms of the quality of the noodles, the soup and the vegan meat (or is that tofu? inside. I personally didn’t think the noodles had a good synergy with the soup. The soup had a strange taste a bit similar to Annis (it’s hard to explain which was strong enough to kill the flavour of vegetables. My all time favorite place in the whole of Berlin I go there religiously by now, their Basil Ramen is just exquisite and the flavors of the Gyoza,,,, immaculate ! Sometimes when it’s full house and in rush hour there’s a slight difference, noddles can be sticky and broth isn’t as flavorful but I don’t mind tbh, it’s very understandable when the place is packed, and yet still very very delicious ! I got great recommendations by the kind waiter and the place is intimate and cozy. I was here alone and even with a bigger group next to me I had a small corner for myself.
