My husband and I went into IKEA to buy laundry cabinets. While we were in-store an announcement came over the PA letting us know that the IKEA Restaurant had a $4.50 breakfast on offer until 10.30am. We hadn't had breakfast so decided to give it a go. The breakfast included A slice of bacon, a sausage, scrambled eggs, a fried tomato, baked beans AND a hash brown! It's only a short bicycle ride away from my home so Ikea Restaurant is a convenient place to go to for a quick bite. The prices are friendly and the food is tasty.Whether you are after a light or heavy breakfast, this place offers options that won't break the bank.Some people object to self-serve coffee machines but it's not an unacceptable taste given the price. And once you learn how to tweak the settings, you can make yourself a decent cuppa.If not, there's always the coffee shop adjoining the restaurant that serves barista made stuff at the usual prices.There are very decent lunch and dinner options too that cater for the light eater all the way through to big boys' meals.Desserts choice...
We bought dinner and a glass to get a drink just before 8.30pm. No signs anywhere saying that they were about the shut, I thought they'd shut at 9pm. Drinking glass is tiny but when went to refill it we couldn't because machines turned off at 8.30pm for cleaning. If there was a sign telling us they were about to shut or if the person at the register had mentioned it we would have bought a bottle of water instead of wasting our money on a refillable cup that cannot be refilled. The food was otherwise good quality for the price, the place was clean and the staff were pleasant but we left very thirsty
We love Ikea's restaurant so much! We would honestly drive all the way here just to have their food. My favourite of all time would have to be the meatballs and chips. Its to die for! Their meatballs are just perfectly cooked and super soft. The daimCake would have to be my favourite dessert. My mum and I had breakfast here the other day....It was delicious and so filling. The hot chocolate is the best..... so creamy and perfectly warm. The best part about the drinks are that you can go back for seconds and more. So you can drink until your heart's content.

Menu have not changed much but they've got nice promo going on every now and then. Still love the meatballs-gravy-linggon berry sauce and chips and bottomless drinks. Did the school holidays kids eat free promo and also the Weekday $5 meal as I had a need to buy some home furnishings a few times last month. Always value for money to eat at IKEA. So far no other shop has beaten its unique business concept of Swedish food shop-restaurant and home furnishings.
We popped into IKEA for some shopping but had some afternoon tea as a family before we started looking around for our list of items. The service was great and there was plenty to choose from. The children were certainly happy with what they had for afternoon tea and I had a great cup of coffee before a great bit of shopping.
You pay at least $20 for a decent big breakfast any where else. Spend $25 and feed two people with big appetites and fill them! Amazing good for for how much we spent!
I ordered the sausage, eggs, hashbrown with coffee for breakfast and it was good and filling. It was also nice and quiet during weekday mornings.

Great value Lots of variety Well priced So easy and quick although noisy at peak times such as school holidays or weekends Try the meatballs!
Food was tasty and very affordable for families. Staff were also very friendly. Good selection also. Would recommend to anyone.
