Ikusa Izakaya - Reserva de mesa

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The portion sizes are exceedingly small! The lobster miso contained a lobster tail that was cut in half, and then cut in half again, resulting in just a single bite of lobster. The broccolini was also a tiny portion. Overall, the meal is not worth the price at all. To make matters worse, the items arrived packaged in what looked like a garbage bag. Considering the price and the time it took for my order to arrive, I find it all quite ridiculous.

I've eaten at Ikusa numerous times and have consistently enjoyed their great and delicious food. Unfortunately, this time the Kuro ramen was incredibly disappointing. The broth had no flavor at all, and the pork was just thin slices of bacon that were mostly fat and overcooked. This is usually my go-to dish, so I'm not sure what went wrong with this order. Thankfully, the oshis were good as always, and we really appreciate the packaging.

The food was excellent. I was a bit disappointed with the amount of wasabi and soy sauce provided, especially since I called ahead to request extra. I hardly received enough for two people. Apart from that, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The special Creamy Scallop Roll was fantastic, and I will definitely order it again.

Ordered the LOBSTER ROLL, got charged for it and it did not look like the one from their menu. Disappointing, its missing the meat on top of the sushi. They just added way too much orange fish eggs to make it look like its the lobster. Picture on their menu vs what we got. rip off. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Reserva una mesa ahora

Tonkotsu Black Ramen and Ikusa Bun (2 pc) were amazing. Will be ordering again.
