Item descriptions were enticing, but the food left a bad aftertaste (some experienced indigestion). Nothing worth complaining about to staff but certainly worth a mental note. We took leftovers home that we ultimately threw away after deciding it wasn't worth it. Valentine’s Day with reservation for my wife and I based on a recommendation from a friend. We were seated immediately, but the service was very slow from there. Took a long time to be waited on, get a drink menu, and then order a single glass of wine, so we ended up ordering our food with our drink order. The glass of wine did not arrive until the food arrived. Lasagna was cold and had to be sent back, and my wife was done with her food by the time my food was replaced. It happens, but it then took forever to get the check, and then after the waiter never returned for my credit card, so we pulled together the cash to cover the bill and walked out. We had a perfect evening at Il Bel Lago from the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. The food was excellent, each dish looked wonderful and tasted even better. The ambiance with music and low lighting was exactly what we were looking for. We can't wait to go back and take family and friends!
Company dinner, so the menu was preselected. Service was outstanding and the portions for the meal allowed me to sample the appetizers, salad, meal and desert without feeling over stuffed. Private dinning room was nice but a little tight for 24.

This is the best restaurant in the city. We go out to dinner twice a week always visiting new places. IL Bel Lago is superior. Food always well presented and delicious. Both owners present over seeing everything. Can't wait for our next visit.
Went for anniversary dinner and it was amazing. Get the truffle mashed potatoes! Also ask for Brett if you want the best service and to make the evening even better. Thank you Brett!
In my experience, to find a place like this, you typically have to go to The Hill. This place is in the county and has plenty of parking.
We went back after 6 yrs and it was splendid!! Service was great, food was over the top delish and cooked to perfection!
