First time visiting this place for dinner with a group of friends.The place stuff up our booked seating arrangement but offer us a discount of 15% for our entire bill as a compensation. In regards to seating, it becomes cramped due to lack of spacing between seats. As it's a last minute arrangement and our group needs to wait another 10 minutes for a seat after our intended booking time.I had the marinara (main) with fettuccine and it's done well and taste good. Plenty of ingredients. A frequent visitor to this restaurant and normally a real fan.But last night was shocking.Waited over an hour for our meal whilst others who arrived after us were getting their meals. After a bunch of excuses we finally got our meal. A share platter of 3 pasta/risotto dishes.Cold , bland and thrown on the plate. Topped of with a nice long hair.Frank had gone home or we would have spoken to him. The head waiter was lovely but the actual couple that waited on us were far from empathetic.Not sure wether we will go back to our old favorite.It was the worst meal we have had there and the worst service
Popped in here after visiting The Melbourne Museum, it's just a short walk to Lygon Street. Place is modern, waiters friendly. We got to pick where we wanted to sit. We had our 4yo granddaughter with us and they brought her out pencils and paper, which was nice. We all ordered small pizzas.. I had potato and caramelised onion, daughter had meat lovers and hubby had a lamb one. The pizza base was really nice with a good thickness and mine was NOT soggy underneath..just how I like my pizza. Topping was a little on the light side but we all enjoyed what we had
Had a wonderful lunch . Had bruschetta for entree which was beautiful , followed by a vegetarian risotto . Yum . A large bowl which I couldn't eat all of . Reasonable prices . The staff there are very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

Had lunch at this place.Lovely food with many options. The food was full of flavours. I had a risotto which was beautifully cookedWe'd had a big breakfast so only wanted a small lunch. Both had entree sized meals and neither of us could it it all. Big portions
Ordered dinner through UberEATS. The food arrived fast and hot. However the pasta and gnocchi sauce was extremely bland. It desperately needed seasoning and herbs, but we didn't have any salt and pepper at our hotel room, so had to eat as is. Disappointing...
We searched out my husbands childhood favorite restaurant and certainly were not disappointed! The service was quick and excellent ! The food absolutely delicious ! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant ! Menu has something for everyone !
