All A5 all the time! This is a luxury experience with sauces and accompaniments that try to level up to the A5 beef with gourmet preparations and unique delicate flavors. The ponzu was exquisite with citrus and dried fish flavors. If you just want meat go somewhere else. Come here if you want a super special meal where the A5 is the star but the rest of team is talented and playing hard as well. Service: Dine in
tried IMA for the first time to celebrate my husband's birthday this past week he's been craving Shabu Shabu for a while and this really hit the spot (and then some). Our waiter Tak was so incredibly helpful and friendly the entire 2.5 hour long dinner, the food was incredibly delicious and there was plenty of it. We were still hungry after we had $160/person meal. It was tiny place, so whenever someone opened the front door, the cold wind will blow in (Nov) -felt like you were in a tent. The service was good but the meal or atmosphere for the price paid just couldn’t be justified.

Delicious restaurant with beautiful interior decorations and gregarious, friendly staff. Really enjoy the set course experience and the meat is divine. Highly recommend for special occasions.
Ima has become our favorite special night place in LA! We are always very excited to go enjoy all there is to offer. It is truly a unique experience!
