I had the Chicken with the Blueberry Muffin Waffles! It was absolutely delicious! The balance of sweet with fresh blueberries in the waffles and within the cinnamon muffin crumble with lemon glaze- was a delightful surprise! They even do special orders, my daughter had the Spicy Honey Chicken to accompany her chicken and waffles- woah! That spice was on point. It did not overpower the natural, subtly seasoned flavors in the fried chicken. This was a definite plus on our radar of good joints in LA! Definitely worth visiting again! #support! Ugh I really want to give this place 5 stars but there’s no real wait staff available. Your seated and the tables have a QR code. If you have questions about the menu you have to get someone’s attention, no one checks in. When you place your order you have to be sure that you get an email to confirm that your order went through, its a little glitchy especially if they’re sold out of an item. The chicken was really good!!! I don’t say that often, I liked the waffles but not the syrup, too much vanilla flavor and it offsets the chicken flavor. Now, onto the food: I ordered the Crispy Chicken Salad (LA) and a Ginger Ale. The salad was beautifully plated and presented. The combination of arugula, fried chicken, tangy tomatoes, and cool ranch dressing far exceeded my expectations. It felt like this salad had its own special place in the world of greens. To top it all off, the avocados were seasoned with a coarse salt that really enhanced their flavor. I was initially hesitant to order a salad at a place famous for its chicken sandwiches and waffles, but I can confidently say that I’ll be ordering the Crispy Chicken Salad (LA) every time I visit Sweet Chick. I really enjoyed this chicken restaurant. The Honey Garlic chicken is unique and absolutely delicious—it's something you won't find anywhere else. Surprisingly, their Brussels sprouts were among the best I've ever had. We've been a bit tired of Brussels sprouts lately since they've been a trendy dish for the past few years, but Sweet Chick prepared them perfectly. I did think the jalapeño hush puppies could have had a bit more flavor, and the regular waffle had a hint of citrus that didn’t appeal to me, but I loved the bacon cheddar waffle. I couldn’t find a way to leave feedback on DoorDash, but I just want to say how much I love you guys! You have the best chicken and biscuits I've had in a long time. However, I've noticed that lately, you haven't been including butter or jam with the biscuits. Could you please add that as an option in the sauces or something? It's been inconsistent lately whether it comes with them or not. Food: 5/5
This restaurant is fantastic! The chicken and waffles are incredible, and I can't wait to have them again! It’s run wonderfully by Chip Cruz and his wife, who truly care about the establishment and are very welcoming to the community. Everything they serve is delicious! I highly recommend giving this place a visit!
It's disappointing because the restaurant's namesake didn't live up to expectations. The fried chicken was crispy but extremely dry, almost like it had been breaded and fried sawdust. On the other hand, the Mac and Cheese was fantastic. The large shell pasta holds onto the creamy cheese beautifully in its ridges.
Classic Southern brunch options with great local twists. Process was super easy finding a table (seat yourself without waiting for hosts or waiters), ordering online, and having food brought straight to you. Cocktails hit the stop and the fried chicken with anything is a hit!

Amazing, love this place. First time I went was during covid so the inside was closer, got to go again and it had the coolest inside atmosphere. Will go again.
