Showed up on time and was sat late, not a big deal. Service was very slow. Was never asked if I wanted another drink. They did a great job of changing out the grills. End of our service had to flag down a server for the bill, because we just weren’t getting any service anymore. Wasn’t offered any ice cream that comes with the set meal; I didn’t want any, but how would the server know that? I’ve ate here many times and have had good experiences, but I had brought someone for their first time and they were very unimpressed and I had no recourse to disagree as the experience was very mediocre. Overall, the flavor and texture of the meat was very good. As Wagyu should, Manpuku’s wagyu melted in my mouth. Personally, the marinade is a little too sweet for me. It gets harder to enjoy the meat in the long-run because of how sweet it is.My favorite was the sukiyaki wrap. They grill it probably for like 20-30 seconds, drench it in the egg yolk, then roll it up with a little ball of rice in between. Oh, and I was surprised by how delicious the shrimp was.The food and side dishes had more of a Korean taste to it than a Japanese taste. absolutely fantastic. we made the tasting menu. was great to try a few different things and it was more than a lot to eat. the prices were good, eating was great, the service was good and attentive. beautiful and clean environment. a variety of grill changes were nice and the bonus was to recognize that they validate for parking in the garage near.

Excellent food. The Kobe tasting menu was spectacular. The service was super friendly. They dealt with food allergies and made sure everything was perfect.
