Walk in and go to the sushi bar see the variety of fresh fish. Look around at what people are eating it is likely authentic Japanese food. Recently, I was in another Japanese style restaurant and the server had no idea what tomago or hamachi kama was. He was familiar with every tempura/cream cheese/mayo heavy roll they made, however. Imasa's menu offers both tempura/cream cheese/mayo and more authentic dishes too.They also offer some Chinese style dishes like sesame balls or dumplings. I enjoyed an excellent lunch here today. The location was easy to find as it's on the SE corner of Stirling and Pine Island in the Walmart plaza. This is a family owned and operated restaurant, and I always try to support local businesses. The server was very attentive without being smothering. Our waiter knew the menu and he was great at explaining a few items to us, which we greatly appreciated. We started with the Kani Salad, Bok Choy in a light garlic sauce, a Crispy Rice Roll, along with a large bowl of wonton soup for my mother. The spicy tuna in the Crispy Rice was delish. Imasa does not disappoint. We have taken out food before and loved it. Today we got to dine in during lunch and it was awesome! Service was attentive and friendly. The Mongolian beef my husband had was so flavorful and delicious. The kids bento box is super cute. I tried the noodles from my sons plate and they were SO good. I had to hold back from eating them all. The Miami heat roll was very good and definitely brought the heat! Highly recommended!!!!

The sushi is delicious and high quality. You cant beat it for the price. I have gone here 3 days in a row and it is my new go to sushi restaurant. I recommend the Sake Bomb appetizer and Omakase. Great experience. The seafood Ramen bowl was a little bland. The broth required more seasoning. Nonetheless, it was edible.I loved the combination of seafood offered. The sushi was amazing. The sauce on it complimeted the dish very well. Would recommend.Food: 3/5

I have done Uber eats and food has been good so far. I simply wished they added spicy mayo just because. That extra fee for sauces is not it.I love their avocado roll (probably not what it’s called ? and the Thai donuts are a must try. (Yummy!

Really impressed! Lovely Japanese oysters and shooters /saki with quail egg. Enjoyed them with sea urchin and fish roe too. Beautiful presentation. Excellent service. Will definitely go back!

Would not recommend. Rice was mushy, roll was messily rolled. Not worth the money for what you get.
