Lacha Somtum is quaint and unusual and magnificently good. I hosted a party of 7 there recently, and our evening was wonderful! Chiang Mai Sausage (on the menu as Curry Pork Sausage) was the standout dish, so good that I didn't have a chance to take a pic before my guests made it disappear. Each bite-sized slice was tender, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Not a hint of toughness. The Papaya Salad with cooked shrimp was another favorite; it was spicy, crunchy, and refreshing! Spicy Eggplant had a light savory flavor that was great at the start and even seemed to improve as the dish cooled. Several in our party who missed a second helping of eggplant (because it went quickly) spooned the rema...

We ordered the Lacha noodle soup, and the yellow egg noodles were the best I've ever had in LA—better than what I've experienced at both Thai and Chinese restaurants. They were perfectly cooked, with a great Al dente texture: soft yet still chewy. The prawns were incredibly fresh as well. In most restaurants with slower traffic, you might expect the ingredients to be less fresh, but that was definitely not the case here. We also tried the pad Thai with crab omelette, and it was just right—not too sweet. To top it all off, we had the fried banana, which was fantastic with ice cream. Overall, I really hope this place sticks around, as foot traffic seems a bit slow and parking can be tricky...

I can’t believe they would use canned pineapples instead of fresh ones!!! The artificial overly sweet and sour taste of a canned pineapple was like getting punched in the face while the flavor of the basil, curry leaf, everything else in the dish is going in the completely opposite direction. There’s also an unbelievable amount of it compared to all other ingredients, making the entire thing quite unbearable. I would caution against ordering any dish with pineapple in it : service was nice but I really just wanted good food sorry

The food had a fantastic flavor, and the level of spiciness was just right. However, I did notice that the floors were somewhat dirty—using a degreaser would really help with that. Additionally, the bathroom could use a thorough cleaning, considering it's a restaurant. The soap in the bathroom was almost like water, which was a bit disappointing. Reserva una mesa ahora

I moved to LA four years ago and have tried over 15 Thai restaurants, but until now, I hadn't found one that truly impressed me. That changed when I discovered this gem! The vegetable green curry was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to order it again next week. Just a heads-up—the mild option is still quite spicy, but in a delightful way!

Ahroi!! (Delicious in Thai) This place is so good, very authentic, and the staff are so friendly and kind. I like somtum Lao and Thai style, fish curry with rice vermicelli, fried catfish yum salad, and sticky rice. I?m pescatarian so I didn?t eat the meat, but my friends all seemed to like it.

Amazing food and great service. Super authentic. Staff was friendly and did a good job recommending dishes. We eat Thai food a lot and this was top tier for sure. Worth the money! We got the fried larb, roasted duck red curry, and yam nam tord. We will beback! Reserva una mesa ahora
