one of the best chippies. there is usually a waiting queue for this place, but it is worth it. shout the kerl what they want when they wait for a 10 minute to order. the opening times are a bit strange, but they probably make more than enough money to open to the times they fit. besides eating, the top notch, the staff are also very friendly and always have a bit of sharpener with each other and the customers. 5-star dining here.
I have just had the pleasure of trying one of Oliver's new meals!! The stir fry chicken. Wow!! It was amazing. Plenty of it and really really tasty. I now can't wait to try the beef dish I bought for over the wk-end. Just fandabidozy. If u fancy a change from fish and chips give these meals a try. Can't wait come bk next wk and try maybe the chilli. Brill idea and brill meal..
this is a local chippy near my place (not plaice) of work, so we occasionally use it for a chippy Friday. the employees have a good sharpener with the customers, many of whom appear regularly. eating is well prepared, tasty and cheap and the staff works quickly to get the orders to the customers without fuss. overall an excellent chippy.
There was only one server who was overwhelmed with a full restaurant. The service was very slow, the chips were mostly overcooked and hard, and the batter on the fish was stuck to the wrapper. This fantastic fish and chip shop offers excellent food and service. The take-out option is perfect for a delicious dinner. Prices range from £1-10 per person. The food and service both receive a rating of 4, while the atmosphere receives a 5. Highly recommend trying their fish and chips.
