Attempted to come here for happy hour, but they only allow you to do it if you 're sitting at the bar. No seats were open so my group of friends and I did restaurant week instead, which was worth it. We all purposely ordered different items so we could all share. We ordered the demitasse soup, spinach chaat, crab corn tikki served with sweet chili aioli, butter chicken poutine, chicken korma, makhani, kheer, toasted coconut gulab jamun and chocolate pot de crème. While waiting for my friend, I ordered vegetarian samosas, and they were quite tasty. I don't have much experience with Indian cuisine, so I can't compare them to much, but I really appreciated their flavor. My favorite dishes include the spinach chaat, Malai kofta, and any dessert the server recommends that day. If you enjoy cocktails, I highly recommend trying the martini as well! This was one of the first places I visited when I moved to Philadelphia for medical school. Call me sentimental, but I’ll always remember how the manager congratulated me and brought out celebratory champagne flutes for me and my friend. He took the time to chat for about 10 minutes, asking where I attended college and what my future aspirations were. It made me feel at ease in a city I was still getting to know. Such small gestures really highlight the values instilled in their training and hiring processes!

The food was undoubtedly good, but the servers made the whole experience uncomfortable. Had two servers for reasons unknown and kept bothering us while we did nothing. The first server kept checking up on us every 5 minutes asking if we can order when it wasn't even busy. It felt like she was rushing us out. Again we ordered an entree and sides for each of us and it was not busy. Halfway through, a second server came by and asked if we were done. I don't understand if it's because we look young or because we look Asian. But this is an Indian restuarant and Indians are Asian. At the end, we didn't even stay for an hour for dinner. I loved this place. Stopped by for Center City Restaurant Week with some friends and we all had a great time. Started with a few drinks. I got The Connoisseur which I thought was reasonably priced for top tier liquor. (glenlivet 21, johnnie walker blue label, macallan 18, macallan rare cask) I've never had any of these so it really added to the whole experience. The actual 4 course meal was amazing. From the soup to the Masala. Great take on modern Indian cooking. There were so many wonderful flavors rolled into this one meal. Service was excellent.
Really amazing happy hour!!! I stumbled upon this place just walking around through Center City one evening and I'm glad I did. Each visit, I meet an incredible new person, try a new food item and overall just grateful to experience such a great time! The staff is phenomenal. Each time I come in, I have a great experience with staff from the host, bartender and management. I recommend the Crispy Spinach Chaat and Tikka Naan Pizza!
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The dishes are flavorful and perfectly balanced. They also offer unique cocktails that are a must-try. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, providing a wonderfully personalized experience. I would give it an 11 out of 10 and would definitely dine here again! I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
We enjoyed our waiter and his knowledge of the dishes. We tried Brunch and was surprised at the choices. Recommend making a reservation. We arrived with our reservation when Indeblue opened on Sunday and within an hour the place full!!

The food is great at IndieBlue. However, if you want an amazing experience, sit at the bar with Ian. Especially during happy hour. Have the Chicken Makhani Poutine while you drink!
