Great food, third world atmosphere. The food here, and the hospitality are great. Very friendly owner, though sometimes a little hard to understand. I wish the recipe descriptions were a little more detailed, as they make everything sound very similar even though the dishes can taste very different. It can be hard to remember what is what. The restaurant side seems relatively clean, but old and spartan. The only bathrooms are on the grocery store side, and that's where it looks pretty bad. It just looks like a third world market. The bathrooms are old, in ill-repair, and not that clean. You can't help to wonder about the kitchen... But the food is very good!
I love the food here! My husband and I could only finish 3/4 of what we bought so happy to have leftovers. I ordered by Grub Nabe, who was probably redirected by Yelp. The word VEGAN often appears in the online menu!! I always think this is a plus in the decision. In the Notes section I asked for NO OIL and I feel that the request was honoured. The food was all very tasteful and full of these special Indian spices!

Tony catered our daughter's graduation party and everything was perfect! He delivered and setup all the food, made sure we had everything we expected, timing was right on and it was a TON of food. It is on the pricey side, but everyone at our party commented on how delicious it was, so well worth it I think. Definitely making this place a go-to for Indian food in GR.

Best Indian food we have ever eaten in any restaurant, in any state we have visited. Tony, the owner, is a wonderful man. Before your meal, or even during it, he will bring you stories about his native Punjab, the film industry and life in general. I can't say enough about how delicious this food is and how pleasant the culinary experience is. Very recommended!
Food is good, atmosphere is uhm.... They have good food, but to be honest the place is a little lacking, it's dark, with poor quality florescent lighting making what little light there is poor quality, it's attached to an Indian market with a sliding glass door separating them.
The food here is absolutely stunning (especially if you like it spicy! The waiter/owner Tony is just an outstanding person who really loves what he does. If you have a feeling of adventure and looking for good Indian food, I would show you to India Town.
Very good! The service was very good and our waiter was very friendly. Our food was amazing and we even had enough left for another meal. Every penny worth it!

Everything here is good! We always go with a group of people and all get different dishes and pass them around. And the tea is amazing!
