Unfortunately I had one of the most confronting and terrible experience on entering this venue which upset myself and my guests for the whole evening. On arriving at the restaurant one of the mangers opened the door and aggressively asked the diliveroo drive for his number. Not the best first impression for me to witness this. Always reliably good Only downside is the bathrooms shared with other venues and not within the restaurant Decor is great. Food always delicious Highlights are eggplant salad dumplings green beans and pork and the crispy skin chicken.
We have been fans of lotus for a long time. Just discovered the Double Bay restaurant. The food is magic, as is the ambiance. All dishes were great. A special mention for the king pao chicken and pepper beef.
This is a beautiful restaurant, not too busy on a rainy night. We ate dumplings, duck pancakes, steamed barramundi and fried rice and honey ice cream all delicious and excellent service.

The taste and quality of the food was amazing. However, the portion was a bit small for the price paid for it.. Suggestion to improve on that. Otherwise, great food and service..
