Intrigo Gelateria

My wife and I were in Thun to visit the castle on a hot August afternoon so we were thrilled to see the Intrigo Gelateria as we walked along the Aarequai on our way back to the train station in the late afternoon. I had a delicious stracciatelli cone and my wife had a very refreshing melon (cantaloupe) gelato cone that cooled us down and provided an appropriate and memorable farewell to this charming town. Portions were generous, price was fair and service was prompt and friendly.

As close to Italy I’ve tasted. Deep rich creamy flavour not sugary sweetness but that nutty Pistatio goodness. I’ve only ever had such great Gelate in Rome, so hats off to Intrigo

Very tasty and varied ice cream in this establishment. We often go there in the summer to taste ice cream. And they also give you a credit card and you can buy ice cream for free.

Unfortunately the service doesn't keep up with the beautiful place on the Aarequai! A pity.
