Authentic.. As someone who grew up from where this food originated, I must say everyone is entitled to an opinion, and in my humble opinion, I grew up with this food on the streets of Malaysia and it is definitely authentic Malaysian food. Try the Hainanese chicken, the roast duck, the roti canai, the Ipoh Hor Fun and the belacan kangkung to sample the best flavours of Malaysia. Some dishes on the menu are no doubt added to cater to the Australian palate, but these guys are seriously good at the more traditional Malaysian dishes. Discovered this rare gem once by pure accident and haven't been able to stop going back since. Beautiful food.
This is a true hidden gem, hiding in a little corner on the gold coast. As a malaysian myself i know first hand what malaysia food tatse like and I had the hainanese chicken and it tasted just like the one in Malaysia and Singapore , or better . A must try if you like Malaysia food !
It takes a second visit for us to conquer the restaurant’s ‘pièce de resistance’! It’s Hainanese Chicken, cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection, in a soy sauce with ginger and shallot and chilli sauce accompaniments. It’s arguably Thomas’ bestselling dish.
Surprisingly beautiful and great Malay food! Staff were friendly and nice. Highly recommend going with a group and share meals. Please have more Coconut jelly dessert and actually have it on menu!

The hainanese chicken was delicious. The noodle dishes were also authentic. Will come back anytime for the wonderful food and service.

Delicious! But very disappointed with the size of a $20 tom yum soup with two pieces of chicken in there.
