The stew chicken, oxtail, and butter shrimp were tasty, but I left feeling disappointed. Even before noon, you had already run out of patties and other menu items, which is unacceptable. The jerk rice was overly wet and mushy, and the chicken soup was too watery. I found the prices to be quite high for the quantity and quality of the food. If you're going to increase your prices, I suggest that you either maintain or improve the portion sizes and the overall quality.
Cabbage tasted like microfiber, Mac and cheese tasted like child support. Rice looked to die for with instant regret. Every time I go in, they are out of beef patties and refuse to make more. Not only that, they have the temerity to try to make me buy veggie and chicken patties. NO ONE IS EATING THEM. STOP MAKING THOSE. No stars is the perfect rating because they never have what you want. Stumbling upon this place is akin to finding a tik tac in a cesspool.
I have had some of the worst Caribbean food here. The macaroni and cheese was dry and greasy. The rice was either undercooked or overcooked. I've tried their food at least four times, and each time I ended up disappointed and frustrated for wasting my money. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I just don’t understand how anyone could still enjoy this place; they must not know what real Caribbean food is supposed to taste like.
I'm sorry, but these women in here are not very nice. They don't smile. They don't make you feel wanted in the environment. They give you a dirty look... Stop letting people like this. Run your business. The food on the other hand is pretty good. Some of the time, I come in here and get that soup with shrimp. Carrots corn and the broccoli is hard if they could just serve it the right way the food is amazing. Must I say Reserva una mesa ahora
I ordered the stew chicken, also known as the dry chicken legs lunch special, which surprisingly didn’t come with rice and peas. The white rice was mushy and had a paste-like consistency, along with a bland taste. The chicken was dry, lacking any stew or gravy, just drenched in oil without any flavor. I can honestly say there was no "Irie" in this dish, and the vibe I'm getting is that I won't be returning.
Good was good about an 8 out of 10. I got the Curry goat rice and peas and cabbage. The rice and peas on point no need to explain. Curry goat could’ve had a little more flavor. Cabbage was kind of bland could’ve used more seasoning as well but all together everything accent each other I would definitely come here again and get different things off the menu.
Order via DoorDash. Food was very good. The jerk chicken and jerk fried rice were both excellent. I got 2 meals out of the order. Mac and cheese wasn't my favorite. It was spicy and had peppers in it. Some may love it. Red velvet cake was awesome.
Stopped by for fried dumplings, was a little skeptical from the reviews but the lady working the counter was very nice and I got three huge dumplings for only 3 dollars they're fresh and crispy I couldn't be more satisfied! Reserva una mesa ahora
This was my first time enjoying jerk chicken, and I was pleasantly surprised! The jerk rice was absolutely incredible! I will definitely be coming back for more. It's a fantastic little spot!
