It is not always easy to find a place that could sit 16 people for a New Year's Eve dinner, but the Iron Rail Tavern made it very easy for us! From the moment we went when our entire group left, the waiting staff was professional, personal and friendly. Our group of friends was unnecessary to say loud and a very, very good time, but the waiting staff didn't mind and they actually took part in our fun! The food was served quickly, was warm and delicious! From the lobster/steak specialty to the lobster-green chili Mac and cheese to everything else, the food was just perfect. It is a little strange to still think about the dressing that came with my spinach salad, or the green Chile that shatters my breakfast. But honestly, they are amazing and homemade at IRT with their own recipes. I love the homemade potato chips, and the chicken wings are crispy and perfect. All I had eaten there was delicious, and I love the rustic atmosphere with its railway theme. All beer taps were handmade, like the door handle, and old black and white pictures of trains hang on all walls. Staff are all welcoming and helpful, and the owner is an energetic and friendly food lover. Love this restaurant!

We came today with a group of 15 adults and 3 children in the high chair. The service was great and the food was phenomenal. Every single thing I tried (and I tasted several dishes! was great. The green Chile was so good, the beer cheese sauce was great, the homemade cheese filled bags were so delicious, and the smoked wings were amazing. And the Mac n cheese! That's perfect. Can't wait to come back.

We Walked into the establishment expecting something MUCH different. Which is a reminder that you never judge a book by its cover. We discovered an amazing ambiance, staff, libations, and food that would impress even harshest critic. New York Strip, potatoes, and Brussels sprouts cooked to perfection! (Sploosh) Do not let the exterior (assumption) prevent you from discovering this gem

The food is incredible and it is a place to relax and take time to eat and visit with friends... or just stop for a beer. Handmade chips! I already have fish and chips and the French dip sandwich I will definitely have again. The fries are amazing. And did I mention the great cake for Dessert? And then Ricotta is baked to die!! So happy to have such a place in my part of the city.
