My first impression, was that this was a nice clean place with courteous staff, a little booshie, but nice. One of staff asked if I wanted a mask and I said no thank you. A moment later another staff member was a little more insisting by saying, I'm going to give you a mask because everyone in here wears one. The federal and state guidelines show we no longer need to wear masks inside, but they will leave it up to the individual public businesses. Please stop passing on your unnecessary and possibly paranoid policy to the public. The 4 stars is because of the mask issue, besides that the sandwich I had was amazing. Well worth the stop here to enjoy their food.
I wanted to kick myself after leaving because I was angry I had driven 2000 times past this soup/sandwich mecca. Tasted the chili which was a little bit spicy but not overpowering and got it for tomorrow's football game. Got two sandwiches. My Hero (ham, genoa, LT, mozz, balsamic, red onions) was out of this world good. Chef's kiss good. Tuscan eggplant was on point with perfectly breaded eggplant and fresh mozz. Can't wait to go back and try the hippie sandwich and more of the soups that looked delicious. Gotta go back soon and change this from a 4 to a 5...Its awesome...
So I've tried several sandwiches there and never had a bad one. Been steadily trying their daily special hot sandwiches which have all been good. HOWEVER what's really been the best have been just random sandwiches that the ladies who work there whip up upon request. Ridiculously good. Couldn't tell you what they were as they are made on the spot and based on some loose direction (e.g something w breaded chicken breast... from which they creatively pull together almost always w incredible results.
Can I give them 6 stars? Have been here many times for lunch and catering and it's never disappointed!!! All the sandwiches are delicious and the roasted veggie soup the best but I have to say it's the hardworking staff that makes it special. This is a family owned business and let me say nobody is working any harder. Worth every penny.

Best deli and prepared foods place in the area by a long shot, they have amazing sandwiches, soups, and daily specials that are all made with great ingredients and health/heartiness in mind. The people who work there are also kind, support local businesses
